Location: Patong - Kathu Ridge near the Meditation Center

From Patong turn LEFT HHH at the top of the pass into the large flat area across from the Chinese shrine. Continue past the cement elephants and up the steep road to the ridge. There are some great views of Patong as you climb to the ridge. Follow HHH to laager. (Please return using the Kathu side and U-turn by the police box then back toward Patong.)
From Kathu heading towards Patong, just before the hill make a U-turn at the PTT station and return 250 m. Turn LEFT HHH toward Phuket Kart also marked with a waving dummy. Follow HHH 2.3 km up the steep road (past Ziplinemax) to the laager HHH. (This routing saves the dangerous turn across traffic at the top of the pass.)
HARE NOTE:
For safety everyone should depart the laager using the Kathu side of the hill.
